I keep trying to finish this book, but for such a short audiobook it feels like it goes on and on.
I will admit there's some obvious plotting here. The author just didn't have the writing technique or characterization to back it up.
Also the narrator didn't clean up his background noise as well as I'm used to. There's bits of background sound here and there.

While still extremely choppy and awkward, the writing has warmed up a bit from the first few chapters. I was tempted to DNF, but I'll push through since it's relatively short anyway.

Final Thoughts:
There are some things with the writing style that just weren't for me, which is sometimes the case. There are certain styles that I don't like.
That said, I really thought the story and the plot were really interesting. And there were concepts I was really interested in.
