The good book attached to the online courses on Coursera. He has a humorous way for amateurs before exposing to Python. For example, he said Python is not just programming but language as well. We're smarter than computers because we can study their languages, but they cannot,... He gives the very close examples. I think it's a good starting

Also using this textbook for Python for Everybody 2. Python for Everybody 1 is chapters 1 through 5. Python class 2 starts with chapter 6. Completed Chapter 6 test, assignment 6.5. Chapter 7 test completed, assignment 7.1 completed, now halfway through assignment 7.2.
