Davis argues a point I've long held: if you want to talk about fairness/justice, you have to take an international perspective and join the dots between different problems globally. But no, most people're only interested in justice as it affects THEM. Nobody else's pain is similar or comes close. They reject seeing the larger picture, and this is why efforts are so fractured and take so long. Amen!

This is a book of interviews with Davis and a few of her speeches. I already know I'm going to have to re-read to take it all in.
