Love the eerie portrait of Salem but too many characters introduced with alternate names too quickly. very confusing at first. I had to re read some chapters and then physically write down character descriptions so I wouldn't get confused

Now this is my kind of book...it feels like things are being drawn out but its the right pace for this book. Just want to continually keep reading it!

Really enjoying this. Nice stmosphere build up. Some character development alongside the plot. Sentences are very long, pedantic as it sounds. It's as though the author isn't quite sure what a comma is. Despite that minor issue, it's an enthralling read.
