I’m enjoying this so far.

“If God was going to reject me for the one thing that made me happy, I was going to reject him right back. People said religion was supposed to inspire kindness and acceptance; all I ever saw it inspire was intolerance and fear—and people were so fearful.”

Sad and bad ending. Interesting concept. I enjoyed the first 65% of the book a lot and the final 35% very little.

Imagine chapters with a wave of references, but we'll see where this leads.

I felt a slight vibe of Carrie, the stranger, but still, despite the abrupt change of scenery (I believe in order to give a more contemporary feel to the events of the book Sword of Kaigen), I am still enjoying the story.

Although it's still set within the context of Sword of Kaigen, the script has a lot of Lorien Legacies influence, which I liked.

I found the environment and setting quite different, but let's see how this unfolds.🤔🤔
