Status Updates From The Gold Bug Variations

This book must be read slowly and savored. I can see how it could be loved or hated, depending on how much intellect one chooses to invest in reading it. I can't understand a lukewarm response. Those who love this book, take their time with it, and aren't content until they've researched every last reference and cracked every last code--those are the human beings who share my intellectual zip code.

Already 2 mentions of "Facts on File", not "Facts On File".

Still ambivalent. But holding on.

So far, I'm not loving this. We'll see if it maintains my interest.
