The Bizarro Arcs just aren't giving. And the art style seems to be just a tad different and it's throwing me off

This is super fun, but I wish that I had a better frame of reference for the plot of the games because it feels like they're filling in plot holes, but as of rn I don't know the plot their completing lol

It’s that thing now though of if they’re not in the game the characters are surely going to die here.

Really good Flash issue instigating what ultimately led to him betraying the Regime in the games.
It’s good to see someone standing up against supes this early in the continuity

Got another development in the Harley x Shazzy relationship which I loved from the last volume.
Alfred’s death was also really well done. He’s been one of my favourite characters in this series and was loyal till the end. Superman hiring zsazs to kill Alfred sums up the lengths supes is going to in this volume

The bizzaro side story has come to a close. Masterfully orchestrated by Lex Luther and well written with emotional beats
Superman has also gone full bad guy. Killing 250 civilians because they were an anti superman pressure group in Joker’s name. S tier villain for sure.

For all he’s an arse in the games, Damian is getting some really nice development here.
He’s had a touching moment with Alfred and has implicitly received Dicks approval to take the Nightwing mantle. Really interesting stuff.

Batman’s boys are resorting to guerilla tactics now and actually getting stuff done rather than sitting back and watching.
Bizarro is into the fold aswell and obliterating everyone and everything because he thinks he’s superman.
This volume feels the closest to the games since the first volume which is lovely.

Loving the role Bane is playing. Joining Superman’s regime and running his own team with Killer Frost and Killer Croc. You could say he’s got himself a team of killers…..

No messing about. Straight into Year 5. I’m finishing this series.
It’s a chunky one this time around - 20 issues rather than the usual 13.
This has been a banger though. Superman vs Doomsday in issue 1 and Bane’s about to cash in his money in the bank to make it a triple threat.
