Learning a lot already. Javascript is evidently kind of like one big nested hash. Reminds me of workflowy -- in both cases I'm surprised what awesome power can stem from a deceptively simple design.

Helped me to get a bit more insight into closures and currying. Also helps me to see how it would be making a mistake to bring C# thinking to a javascript world. I'm starting to hope that i might finally 'get' the whole javascript thing which has so far eluded me in other aspects of web programming.

a) JavaScript, I never knew you.
b) Pretty sure there's a bug on p. 39 in Dan's edition. Funny thing is that I went to the errata site, and it says they corrected the old version (the way I think it should actually be) to the new version that looks erroneous in the book. Madness! http://oreilly.com/catalog/errata.csp...
