What an inspiring introduction. I'm fully on board with the philosophy behind this book, and am looking forward to diving in. There should definitely be more books that share this philosophy, because one of the most frustrating things about technical books is that they try to be references. I'm glad this one is explicitly not trying to do that.

Just finished the Functions chapter. There are some Good Things presented here, like Memoization and Closures, but not everything function is explicitly a JavaScript language feature. Already, reading the first 4 chapters of this book have helped me be a better JS programmer at work. Can't recommend this book enough.
