Didn't have patience for Chapters 8 and 11. Can't see relevance to chapter 14. Even Mac has Bash. Scripts should not run if Bash not found.

Chapter 4 was about text processing again. Maybe to practice some tools and concepts from Chapter 3.

Chapter 3 was mostly about manipulating strings using grep, sed and awk. Awk isa programming language, which is a lot more different from grep and sed, which only go up to the use of regular expressions.
Why would I need to learn awk when I can use so many other languages?
