Status Updates From Winning Lord West (Dashing ...

Yes ok I'm starting on the third book in the series but there's so little tension in this set up that I'm not invested in this relationship at all. Did all the character development happen in the other couples' books already? :(

This book is pissing me off ...

But now that she’s a widow and can finally experience that same freedom she should give it up for his dumb ass ? F that ! Go be free girl ! Explore the world and men. If he still wants you , he can wait just like he expected of you

The heroine started off cold and difficult to like, but really pulled it together at the end and won me over. This was a nice story--man, lots of sex scenes for such a little piece! Full review to come.

I'm so glad she only calls him "West". Vernon might just be a worse name than Silas (her brother)...

Helena is hard to like due to her bitterness but West is charming. I really like him.

Interesting structure for a novella (you get a chapter as a set-up ("The Challenge"), letters, and then a section called "The Wooing"), but the letters didn't work for me. Without knowing why she wrote them the way she did, Helena comes across as a total bitch... Hopefully, the second part will give more insight into her motives
