Status Updates From Fight Like a Girl

DNF @ p90. I love Ford’s 2 later books, but this first work really misses the mark for me. I didn’t think it would be biographical and there’d be more stories of women empowerment. The stories loosely tie into the point she’s making and they feel quite empty. After each chapter I read, I’d shrug thinking ‘what was the point of that?’ not feeling any more inspired or empowered than before.

dnf @ pg 52. i’m not loving the style of writing - it’s very millennial cringe. also from the parts i read i already know those ideas so i don’t think ill miss out of much. not bad, just not for me.
