This book comes before another that I bought on a whim from the clearance section at Half Price a few years ago, I'm excited to see if my instincts that day were right or if the series will turn out to be a bust

Very boring. I tried to give it a chance 2 times I put it down and picked it back up because Althea was kinda cool, space pirates and research ships are awesome and I was thinking be something is going to happen but…… nothing. I dozed off. Did not finish it.
