While Aunt Odie was speaking she compared "knowing if something is good or bad" to "love being the secret ingredient" (Williams 11). I feel this foreshadowed something with love and how that works out.

I love one of the main characters Aunt Odie. She seems very funny and sarcastic like somebody whos funny when you need to laugh but also a loving friend when you need them: "'Yes sirree, buddy,' Aunt Odie said. 'You heading on back means I'll be losing my best worker'" (Williams 4).
