Interesting premise. I'm glad there's a glossary in the back, it's filling in some gaps for me.

I will say, though I'm a bit confused by the world Lakey has set out--I hate info-dumps as much as the next person, but they're sometimes necessary when setting out the rules of the world an author has built--I find myself already connecting to the characters, especially Tam and Cheobawn.

I got sucked in and read a lot today...something happened and I couldn't put it down until I knew how it would be resolved. Really enjoying it!
