Vivek Shraya's poetry is some of the most eclectic I've read so far this year. Sometimes it doesn't hit but I appreciate a writer taking big swings!

"I don't think privilege males any one human a bad person. I think ignoring your privilege, defending your privilege, or refusing to understand where that privilege comes from is a problem. I have privilege because the world is fucked up. I think one of the best things we can do is recognise the true history and say no thank you, you guys did that and we are not okay with it" sharing the true history thats important
