Oh my, such a difficult read and I'm still halfway there. It's so cloudy and that sense of doom is always always there. *sigh*

Half way through and I'm pretty sure I cannot read another word, it's just such grimy, melodramatic drivel. The English and their depthless class anxieties, do you think anyone cares? I don't. Bollocks to buddy reading this verkakte book.

What kept me wondering all through the book is: why the fucking hype? WHY? Someone explain this to me.

Mmkay, this last bit was pretty atmospherical, but... really? There's so much unexplained, disconnected stuff here that it's becoming nonsensical.

Oh my god, please get better at least in the last 20%, because I can feel the life draining out of me.

God, he's so childish.

Because no matter how much you want to understand someone, you never can. Too much of what they have experienced will never translate to anyone else, and each person has their own take on the world.

Perhaps not the smoothest 1st person narrative ever, but I like the pace so far. Waiting eagerly for some misery.
