empiezo librito de policias porque ya hace bastante que no me leo un thriller (creo jajja)

It was interesting to see how they weaved a couple of the show storylines into this one. Having just the one big (interconnected) case helped too. Lots of moving parts but much easier to keep track of than the two separate cases in the last book.

I love how the book summary on the back of the book says Rook claims they arrested the wrong man, so when she does arrest the main suspect, he says he's not their guy. Well, of course they have to throw that in there, there's still a lot of book to read 😂

I think I have read too many articles on what Nathan Fillion was like on set. I never thought Castle was so pompous that he would mess up cases just so he could be apart of them but I keep expecting Rook to do it. Maybe it is the way this particular book is written but I'm always glad when he isn't in the scene.

Who is the famous author that wears glasses and leather jackets in alleys? Maybe that's not what it said. Also is Beckett's neck a real place? I should Google that. Did Kate get named from a place in the Hampton's or did the book make up a place as homage?

I always try to figure out which tv plots will be mixed together to make the book plot. So far I am at a loss. Fantastic story though

It has been a REALLY long time since I've read from this series. Thankfully earlier books are referenced like normal past. I forgot most of what happened book vs show but there is enough detail to remind me.
