(1) So far, big deals are made of developments that ultimately lead to nothing.
- There's no urgency for plot resolution.
(2) Issue #65 is objectively not a comic book. It's illustrated prose.
- There're no panels nor word balloons, just one large illustration per page surrounded by large blocks of text.
(3) Latest character named after a '90s NHL player: Brett Hull.

(1) Gah! Once again, I've had to delay my long-awaited Spawn hiatus because the last volume ended on a cliffhanger!
- At this point, I need more of a Spawn detox than anything.
- This series has slowed my reading output to a crawl.
(2) Over 60 issues in, and we're still dealing with Jason Wynn and the infernal conspiracy surrounding Al's death.

Oh my G-d, just write a Spawn novel, McFarlane. I'd read it and at this point, why all this exposition? You clearly wanna write a Spawn novel, do it.
