The portrayal of Melissa is actually starting to irk me. What is it about grown adults (especially in the church) absolutely despising teenage girls and over exaggerating every little flaw they may have. A 17 year old who likes boys? Oh no! This has never been heard of!

Brilliant, the depth of the characters so far is incredible. I enjoy the spacing out between character building and story so far too, very easy to keep engaged as I’ve only recently jumped back into reading and have had a difficult time keeping an attention span long enough to read more than a couple of pages at most, with this series it’s really not a problem. So far it has my tick of approval!
