I’ve never met a murderer.” “Well, go and meet one,” was the agent’s reply... “And if you can’t meet one, go and commit a murder yourself, because if you can’t strike out in a new line, you might as well go sheep-farming in Australia. Halfway through chapter two, not sure about this one, I’ll try a bit more tomorrow- introduction warned the characters were unlikeable, author very down on marriage in this one - definitely seeing that!

A dark, unsettling, riveting Golden Age whodunit. I’m glad it came back I print. Wish she had a huge back catalogue.

Things are going very well, so I guess I’ll have to look into her two other Mysteries.
