Why is the author introducing new characters every chapter? Not complaining. it’s kinda fun and he’s good at developing them

At absolutely no point have I known what was going on or what was going to happen next but nonetheless this might be the best book I’ve ever read

Started this because I had it downloaded on my Kindle a while ago… I mean, I like it but holy sh*t it’s pretty dark and gory.

Love the magical system/world/mysterious aspect of it all so far

I'm a quarter in and still have no idea what I'm reading. Don't know whether to thank or curse a redditor who said this book is similar to Southern Reach (which I adooooreeee).

If anything, now it feels more like American Gods? Curious but kind of want to understand what's going on at least before the first half of the book is over lol.
