I read a review to go in blind, and while still in the very beginning, I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS. I'm beyond intrigued by this book so far.

I think this is a book where the author is experimenting with what you can do with the story and plot when you don’t care to be rational or make anything feasible or have explanations for anything and I kinda love

Yes, I am aware that I read this some 10 yrs ago. After reading my original review, I will be more circumspect towards the end.
Gotta say, I remember nothing and I love it.
