Take being an artist seriously, but don’t take it too seriously. Don’t go to college, don’t collect debt. Work menial jobs, take trips and Eat Pray Love! Never ask for permission, be aware of your fears and learn to manage them. One day you too may become famous, or not, be creative, but realistic. Art doesn’t matter, but it does.
