Yikes, another couple healed by the power of a good dick. There’s nothing wrong with it but where was the emotional complexity of a 41 year old vs 24 year old? Not sure if Finley Fenn ruined me but I needed a good angsty moment for Egilka. He deserved Clajak to worry and grovel for forgiveness. Disappointed.

I’ve been eagerly anticipating Clajak’s story when I purchased this book and was introduced to him in Rajhal, Flencik, and Breft’s book. I am so excited! Already loving the tropes from the book summary.

From my frustration of the first have to me being emotional drawn in in the second half. I think I like my alphas too much and struggle with the betas or nurturers as in this world. They sometimes are just too much like girls . Give me strong woman any day. Anyway off to go read how the men get the one love . . .
