Since the book was written in 2015 and the wind energy field is constantly growing, the book becomes more and more introductory. That might be a silly thing to say since it already says in the book title that it serves as introduction to the field, however, what I mean by my comment is that the book becomes not specifically for wind energy students but for all (managers, economists..) who are interested in this area.

So far what I have observed is that the author explains the theoretical concepts very well but lacks to dive into the equations and more technical concepts. One of such is the explanation of how to find resolution, accuracy, precision in a given set of data. The example 3.2 alone lacks to tell how the solution is found. Hope it will get better for more crucial concepts...

This is the course book my professor has suggested for us to use in the class and so far I am enjoying the language used to explain some concepts. It is written in a way almost that the author is chatting with the reader on his favourite topic. Will update my thoughts on the book as I further proceed.
