So I def bought this (and books 2, 3, & 4) used from Amazon last year because the cover(s) are just gorgeous! They make me think of old painted bodice rippers, though as of page 57 no bodices have yet been ripped. Both mains names make me want to roll my eyes and sigh a bit but I’m finding the dialogue pretty funny in some areas and I’ve got some vague theories about the dead prince+fam…so here’s hoping!
