I’m almost halfway through, and I’ve had to stop several times to wipe tears from my eyes. It’s refreshing to feel cleansed again. It’s like taking a bath; you feel clean, refreshed, and energized. I’m excited to know I’m being purified in life’s furnace. This book is hard to put down once you start reading. I want to meditate and soak in the spiritual insights.

the book of Mormon is listed under goodreads's "must read at least once" books. the book of Mormon is also listed under Goodreads's "worst books of all time".
personally? I'm extremely confused, but i'm not mormon nor am I interested in Mormonism

I'm enjoying this so much, Idleman is putting a lot of things into perspectives that I've never seen before and it's truly beautiful!!
also i recently discovered that i HATE digital books and would read a boring paper book over a good ebook any day, so the only use my kindle is getting is goodreads and spotify💀💀

the CHOKEHOLD this book already has on me!! the author is so blunt and raw about everything and i just cannot get enough. it all feels so real and i really appreciate seeing God through a honestly broken person, not someone who has themselves duct taped together and is pretending to be not broken. the only other christian author i’ve read that’s this good is max lucado and i’m looking forward to reading more!!
