I'm seriously hoping this poor girl doesn't get outed at homecoming. I don't know if movies have just conditioned me to wait for the disaster to happen before the conflict resolution, but I'm feeling nervous right now.

This novel is so very southern and the narrator has such a honey-sweet voice, I'm loving it. Though I am terrified for this girl at the moment, like I know that Russo's bio says it's a trans story with a happy ending, but that's not stopping me from feeling nervous!

I have been LOVING this book but I’m so worried!!!!! I’m just over halfway through and things are perfect - there’s no way the book is going to remain this awesome for the next 100 pages. I have SO SO SO SO much faith in Grant and I am PRAYING that he does not break that
