J’aime beaucoup. Très juste et touchant. Par contre j’en ai un peu marre qu’on insiste autant sur la beauté d’Amanda tout les deux chapitres ou presque. On a compris 😅

My goal was to finish this for readathon but I didn't. Still happy I made some progress, I haven't been in the reading mood for some time now.

This book is killing me!!!
SO GOOD!

I was so enjoying the low-conflict nature of this book and hoping it would stay that way... but it was not to be ;_;

Just a few chapters in and I've already teared up multiple times. Such a wonderfu, important book, but my stomach hurts at the fear of things that can go wrong for Amanda as she's navigating her life.

This is anxiety inducing even though it's all pretty smooth sailing so far

I am trying to guess who is and isn’t going to surprise me..

Damn this reads fast

So far I like the story, although I find the writing style a bit lacking. Sometimes it's just a bit jumpy and details seem more random than really adding to the scene. I'm invested in the characters and curious what will happen.

Right now I'm rather iffy about the drunk Bee situation at prom. :S

Why haven't I read this before? Up to this point the book is really heartbreaking... Never have I ever craved a happy ending this much

I am aware of the things this author has been accused of and if I'd known I wouldn't have bought this book, but alas, I did, years ago. I'm just gonna read it and get it out of the way.

chapter 27 just ruined this for me.

eu adorei e sofri. É primeira vez que leio um livro com representatividade trans e a autora também é. A história tem flashbacks da vida dela antes da transição e depois até quando se torna uma mulher confiante. Me surpreendeu na reação das pessoas, como cada um é complexo e vive suas próprias mentiras, negações e verdades

I would read wayyy more tonight, but I should get some sleep now :/
