You can't drive to the Hollywood sign. I hate it when great books make stupid mistakes. Heck you can't even drive to the observatory any more, though you could thirty years ago.

These characters are super terrible. Not in the writing or characterization (because it's really good), but in the "oh god these characters are really terrible human beings that make me want to shake them by the shoulders."

So this is the second YA book *in a row* I've read where The Great Gatsby becomes a plot point. More specifically, where Nick's sexuality is questioned. How...weird is that.
