I'm still not liking this too much

To be completely honest I am not liking this one that much. I saw it on the shelf at Barnes and Noble and I thought hey I really want to read that! I grabbed it at the Library a few days ago and it's just not doing anything for me :/ I like the concept she has where this girl runs away to california and lives with her sister who's an actress, etc. It's just the writing kinda feels like wattpad writing.

This book is a lot more quirky than I expected, not in a bad way, just in a way I have to get used to!

ok i read 20 more pages and im seriously considering just DNFing. theres such an 'im not like other girls' vibe and anna is literally just so annoying. and then i read the line 'if i couldnt be dateable i could at least be respected' WHAT IS HAPPENING

im sticking with this for now but it's been like 4 days since i read any and ive already forgotten everything that happened bc it's super mediocre

I am only finishing this book to find out if Anna has any redeeming qualities at the end.

wow I thought her issues with her mom were teen angst bullshit and homophobic but WOW NOPE HER MOM IS JUST A BITCH

Every time I start getting bored with this something comes up that makes me want to keep reading. I don't know what that means.

I really, really hate this book. I probably won't finish. The narrator is awful. I guess I'm in the minority, all my favorite reviewers seem to love it.
