Status Updates From Joseph Smith: The Making of...

Along with Visions in a Seer Stone, this is one of the best books I’ve read on Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. He comes at it from the perspective that it was written by JS and points to things going on in his personal life that could have influenced the BoM. That may be offensive to LDS members, but I think he does it in a respectful way and it’s still a legitimate way to analyze it.
