Status Updates From The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

I wanted to read Tom Sawyer and huck Finn before I read James by p. Everett but Im reading the original/unabridged version I have to look up soooooo many words and historical contexts it’s taking me forevvveeerrrr I’ll never get to James before black history month is over 😩

Doing a re-read of this & Huck Finn before reading James!! Haven’t read either since high school and tbh I probably just used spark notes then anyways
