It's taking me a while to get through this due to my hectic schedule of late, so I'm only a little ways in, but so far at least 2/3 of that has consisted of the protagonist whining about how much she likes Rain and how she wishes she could get Rain to like her and how it'll never happen and how she needs to get over Rain, and I'm just uuuuugh. Can something else start happening, now?

I love how this novel completely demolishes the usual fantasy cliches. No more magic users that seem to be an expert in magic soon after they discover magic even exists. It's surprisingly realistic. Loving it so far.
