Status Updates From The Horror at Red Hook

Racism warning unfortunately in this book ;n;

I thought this would be about peter pan in some way, I can quickly confirm it is not, but there is definitely a very keen sense of horror in this one. I feel like older horror captures something that newer horrors don't. Whilst a lot of these books aren't 5 star reads, I personally find them more intriguing than a horror story with the f word 80 million times.

like much of hp's oeuvre, this was boring and flagrantly racist. his commitment to "strange incomprehension" is overdone and dull.

reading this for historical racist horror context, not seriously

I just want to finish this so I can read the Ballad of Black Tom already
