crazy two issues. we get more miles’ dad flashback as a shield agent working undercover as kingpins henchman (although the art for flashbacks is still weird to me) followed by a nice spiderman issue with a funny cameo from cloak and dagger giving relationship advice. Miles gf’s dad also happens to be a hydra agent and has spiked miles leading to an insane cliffhanger for the next issue which i’ll read later

third issue read - this version of miles’ dads backstory reveal as a former shield agent working to bait out the kingpin was interesting and previously unseen for the character so made an interesting read. the art style changed suddenly though potentially to show it was set 25 years ago although i wasn’t a fan so l glad it went back to normal at the end

2 issues down - this is peak
yet another cold Osborn entrance straight up killing JJJ although getting low diffed by spiderman 3 times in 2 issues isn’t a good look. it’s as funny as ever so far (such as miles asking to borrow MJ’s couch before throwing it at Osborn) and there’s been some mad plot revelations (no pun intended) regarding Peter, Miles’s dad and his gf Katie (who’s part of hydra?) 4/5 stars

huh, maybe that's why she hasn't gotten back in touch with him. (... Kate Bishop, Earth-1610's version of the younger Hawkeye, and also Miles Morales' once good friend/girlfriend/sortof. Whose parents are openly members of a terrorist organization. (Meanwhile, this is all after an Earth-1610 event in which Earth's poles were reversed, Manhattan was flooded, etc. ...)
