Status Updates From Identity Crisis

So far, I can't put this down! It's action packed and I need to know what's gonna happen next!

"He’d point blank told me I was his woman, which had to mean he was my man. He was doing everything he could to keep me protected and I felt an urgent need to give back to him in the only way I could." -- I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.

"I took a deep breath, drawing her scent into my lungs as I ran my palms over her back. She’d been shot. A bullet had ripped through her silky soft skin and it had happened under my watch. I didn’t know if I would ever forgive myself, or if she would ever forgive me for putting her at risk." Corny, cliched and copycat.

Stylistically, I am struggling. The delivery is choppy and the first-person narration voice-overs keep pulling me out of the story.

DNF AT 60%. Idk something about the main guy was not clicking for me.

There is no way, an organization such as this, wouldn't just take her out. This whole sting is not at all plausible.

Uh, a man breaks into the h's house and says she is in danger. The BF tells the h that if the guy is hot she should sleep with him WHAT!! That is super stupid, dangerous, and, irresponsible. Women don't have friends like that!!!

One addictive read after the other. Honestly can't put this book down till its done! x
