Pretty much a crap book from beginning to end. Both synopsis sounded good for this duo of novellas but neither felt or had any real Christmas spirit and both had atrocious male leads that were nothing for any female to crave. When are authors going to learn no one wants alpha jerks??? Such a let down.

This author has obviously never been in a hospital before. They would not send ALL of their security, if any, to the parking lot to deal with a fender bender. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Oh my gosh! He is just horrible. You have to marry me by Christmas or forget I asked. Not really someone you should want to marry when two days ago you didn't. He is way too immature to settle down and take care of a family emotionally. He's sounds like a temperamental toddler.

And now when they're talking about the job she loves he tells her she should just be happy to be a stay at home mom.

This first paragraph practically contradicts everything he's said or thought about her up to this point, and it's not like he just saw the light or anything he's just spouting words the author thinks we want to hear him say.

"the girl he never really looked at beyond taking her friendship for granted" yeah he sound like a keeper.

I love of he calls it his mother and April's earlier "blow up". His mother assaulted April and blamed all of it on her and Nate climbed right on that train and rode it all the way to the station. Poor April is going to be stuck with these crazies.

This has abusive relationship written all over it. Stalks her. Won't let her leave. Won't take no for answer. Apologizes after abusing her only so he'll feel better and keep her from getting away. Making the "problems" her fault. This is worse than twilight she fifty shades of grey.

She is being physically and verbally abuses by the douche and his mom and she's wondering if going home to safety is "running from her problems"?! This us too stupid. Sometimes you need to cut toxic people from your life and this "friend" who has never had romantic feelings for her and wished he'd never touched her along with his bitch of a mom need to go.

I had high hopes for the second story going in but it sounds like it's going to be one book with two first class douche bags. And no Christmas vibe other than throwing the word in two or three time so they can call it a Christmas book.

Her friend Hannah is stupid too, sex can't just fix a broken relationship. Jeeze! This author is victim blaming, good thing it's only over a break up and not something worse. She'll be added to my DNR list.

Douche bag alert! He turning it all back on her, it's her fault that he wouldn't listen to her. Pretty sure this birders on controlling and abusive relationship status.

I don't think he can change in one morning, if ever. He sounds like a man any advice columnist along with a good girlfriend would tell you to leave. Kara did the right thing. I don't think he'll have an epiphany of any kind, he seems too selfish.
