MERYL!! i was thinking about this book today, so i decided to listen to it

Mind your business it’s a book on the Rory Gilmore reading challenge ok. Also why my tbr is sky rocketing with the classics

This book is just too cute and has a wonderfully sweet ending. 😊🥹😍🥰

I do adore a teach like Mrs. Twinkle. Shes really understanding and she makes it seem easy to get the childrens attention to realize that yes indeed, Chrysanthemum is a beautiful name to have. Especially, since she is also named after a flower with a long name (Delphinium) and also would name her baby, if a girl, Chrysanthemum. Delphinium Twinkle, you dont hear names like those anymore. I love her name.

All honesty, Chrysanthemum nightmare about her being a flower and being plucked until she was nothing but a scrawny steam is frightening. Especially, with a childs imagination. I would think thats the worst thing to happen, but being older you realize its not. Poor Chrysanthemum. She had a unique name than the rest before they came to realize it.

I do adore this audio book. Listening to it makes me feel like I am actually watching a cute animation of the story. For example: like if it was illustrated into a tv series like the 1993 Madeline, children's television series was. Or like Angelina Ballerina.
