Status Updates From Poems Of The Decade

i’m not usually a massive fan of modern, free verse poetry but the gun, chainsaw vs the pampas grass, and giuseppe have become new favourites very quickly. i have a soft spot for visceral descriptions of violence and gore, i fear. the one thing i think romanticism lacks for me.

If I read one poem from this book everyday I will just about have finished it in time for my A-level poetry paper. I know I said I would do this at the start of the year, but I'm sticking to it this time.
