I keep being baffled by what this manga expects the reader to remember.

Case in point, one of the baddies is asking Akari where "Rank 8 and Rank 9" are. As in, we are expected to know who these people are...!

The Mars ranking was introduced volumes ago...and it includes a hundred people. There is not way anyone who is reading this, as the volumes are published- or the chapters, for that matter- will remember.

Now Michelle is also talking to her Gori-Roach!

And we're given up on the pretense that readers that actually follow these strings of kanji. Now we even have furigana for things I can read.

Oh, man, Akari is explaining how his new technique is written to a damn Gori-roach!

Why don't you explain it to me instead...I'd appreciate it, am human, will not kill you and again, am actually interested. So unfair.

It will never cease to amuse me how EVERYONE insists on having this monologues with the Gori-roaches.

I get it, the critters are smart enough to maybe understand human speech (they did this even before that, too) but they do not answer.
We get this:

"I am SOANDSO, and am here to let you know what humanity can do!"

"Jojojojo. Jo."

"That's right! WE'LL KILL YOU ALL!"

"JO. jO. Jojjo."

"Here's my backstory"
