Why is this kinda reading like YA? I keep having to double check if it’s actually an adult book

The story has a lot of potential and i am curious how it wil developt but sadly the romance, or should i say 'instand-lust' is where the writer falls short of delivering a in depth story thet invokes commitment and emotions from the reader, as it stands now, it mainly annoyed me and made me les enjoy the story. So over all its good but dont expact commitment becouse of lack of depth and subplots.
