Status Updates From The First Time in Forever (...

I HATE the writing style but, so far, it seems to be a cute story.

(+) Maybe because it was so badly written, or maybe b/c Melody still doesn't have any more personality than a brick wall.

Up to Chapter 2
I mean, really. As if you wouldn't take an unconscious person (WHO YOU HAD JUST HIT WITH YOUR CAR, by the way!) straight to the hospital or at the very least a doctor (instead of your HOTEL ROOM). I know this is fiction but Jesus Christ, it's common fucking sense.
Already disliking this because the character's intelligence is being sacrificed for the sake of a 'romantic' story line.

Skimmed through the last 18%, otherwise I would've never finished the utter trash that is this.

And it wasn't even written well, it was just a cheap shot at giving a dull character some background.

Using rape and abuse as a plot device::::; fuck you.

Of course Melody has a perfect voice and let's just give her a job right now. Why not, right? She's already pretty and every guy she meets except the love interests already try to rape her. Let's just keep on adding to the ridiculousness that is this.

Jesse pondered the words to the lullaby he knew. He was beginning to think he did love her.

They've known her for 3 days(+ or -, it's not like I'd pay any + attention to this book than what was needed) and already 1 of them is in love with her. Since none of them have any personality, we can just assume that by the book's ending everyone will be in love w/ everyone else just b/c.

"I really can't talk about this right now." she said, not ready to share anymore about her life. "Sure, for now," he said clearing his throat, "but we will have to talk about this at some point.

And I present(did I do this already? they all kind of blur together... I think I've been calling him love interest nº3) you Jesse, another useless love interest.

"What did they want?" asked Isaac softly. All four sets of eyes were aimed at her now.
She paused, collecting her thoughts as her face heated, "Me. They wanted me to... to..." Melody couldn't say words to what they wanted from her.

I guess this was supposed to make her seem traumatized or innocent, but it just didn't seem real. (+)

She had never met a man like him, or any of them really.

Jesus H. Christ. Literally the only thing Tyler did was grunt, demand she do things and act sullen. And give her an ice pack. But wow, he's so special.

She looked at him with confusion and a little bit of awe in her expression. He looked like a big brute, oozing a fierce attitude from every inch of his massive body, yet he was treating her gently and sweet.

Of course he looked like a brute b/c he's tall and has muscles. Why ever not.
Do I still need to mention the grammar mistakes?

One of the love interests starts carrying her without her permission, and when she tries to pull away from him because she doesn't want to be touched all he has to say is 'knock it off' and all of a sudden being touched is completely okay with her.

She's supposed to be this homeless teenager who has been abused in some way and instead of being afraid of these strangers and getting the heck away, she's all:

"Can I have a chocolate shake?"

Girls like her didn't hang out with guys like them. That is unless they wanted something bore. She decided to ignore that thought and instead focus on his question about being hungry.

Do I even need to explain everything that's wrong with that?

"Leave me alone you big jerk! I said I was fine and I'm not your responsibility!" she blasted out. "I don't like bullies so just please give me my stuff so I can leave!" Her face red, her breathing hard, she glared at Tyler.

This is supposed to be a girl of around 17 years, folks.

Why he was angry with her? Why did he seem to care so much?

Idk, it's not like you have any depth or personality. Then again, none of them have any either.
Oh, and more grammar mistakes.

MC says she's fine and love interest is rude and says 'bullshit' while being intimidating.
MC who up until now has been shy and meek suddenly has a temper and 'glares' at love interest while 'feeling indignant at his behavior'.
MC snaps at love interest and then shudders b/c we can't forget that she has a bad past, oh no!
MC 'was so tired of being men and their bullying.'

/help, I can't take much more of this

More grammar mistakes.

Melody hasn't told anyone her name since being out on her own b/c safety reasons but pfft what does being safe even matter when she could tell a pretty boy her name................ I want for this book to die a horrible book death and then just cease to exist.
