Status Updates From Surviving Bear Island

The mood in the book right now is suspenseful. This is because Tom is learning, but he has seriously injured himself, therefore we don't know what exactly will happen next.

I like this book because it's about a boy and the nature.

In my book, "Surviving Bear Island." Tom Parker is stranded on a island. He feels alone, useless, and desperate. I can connect to this because when I broke my arm I felt useless and desperate to get better; and get back to a 'normal' life, where I could use both arms.

he was dreaming about his mom and thought that she was still alive. Then the next morning he finally woke up and he dint worry about anything. Finally , he was still alive.

The next day they caught triple the amount of mussels and they had to eat them in two days or they will not be the best. Two days later snow continued to blow without sticking as darkness fell.

They went out trying to fine some muscles to eat for dinner and they eventually found some. Then when they found the muscles they put them in cold mud then after that they put them in ice cold bucket.

They were making a tree house and they didn't know how big to make it. Then the boy made a shelter and he asked his dad how good it was and he said it was a decent shelter.

When the boy was walking in the woods the bear started to follow them, and he said that his teeth were big and he started to run the the bear started to run. Also he said the bear seemed agitated.

When the rain came in it made his sheets cold with the wind backing it. He stumbled on a rock then he grabbed a tree leaning over the water.

He went to this pool and he said that it was about ten feet across, six feet long, with a four-foot waterfall spilling into it. When he caught some salmon he gutted it, and he ran a rope through the gills to carry them.
