Heartfelt and heartwarming moments are very quick and simplistic in this story. There's not many emotional scenes in that way. Not to say it's a bad thing, but just an observation. There are also some very creepy monsters, and the fact that they're drawn means I get to see them in all their glory. Which is nice because envisioning monsters and stuff like that in written novels is very difficult, with descriptions

I wonder how this story was created. If it is basically just the full story of Odysseus told in a book, which would then follow with the wonder of how accurate it is to the actual greek myths. It could also be a made up story, as in Odysseus is a character created by Homer, but I really don't know. This is my first time hearing of the guy after all. We've got his backstory now, though, and I think the whole deal with

Now the story has picked up and is becoming more interesting. I hope that I'm able to retain this stuff since it's nice knowledge to have. I wonder how much more complex and/or different the wording of the original book is compared to this graphic novel. I mean, I only get to see the dialogue, but still. Reading this has made me become aware of beliefs and customs back then too, which is neat.

There are many names that are unfamiliar and they're Greek, so it's harder for them to be memorable. Other than that, I see no problems. I think my interest in Greek mythology is the only reason I'm reading this. Otherwise, if I was a reader with no interest in it, I would find this boring. Which makes sense, but yeah. Not much has happened yet, and there's a long, long, long way to go. So that's all I have to say.
