Status Updates From Forever Ago

I tried.. I'm not sure if I'm just coming off of a really well written book before or this is just simply bad. I fear this is a dnf. I'll keep it around if I ever wanna try again but the characters and style of writing even the pace it's written at are just all irking my brain.
