This book showed me how problematic my initial research question was about white working class masculinity. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in phenomenology and class. Charlesworth masterfully incorporates Bourdieu, Heidegger, and Merleau-Ponty to give a convincing account of the lives realities of the working-class.
