This reading session had less new stuff. There’s added lines that weren’t in the film. Overall, I just may not be digging this reinterpretation. I’m getting awfully close to where it all falls apart. I don’t know how it’ll land. It’s funny because like the film we go back-and-forth through time, the book has longer and more flashbacks. Which I do like, but it messes the pacing. Ugh 😩 frustrating!

A lot of scenes that weren’t in the film, adding context to this version of Mary’s past. Getting to know the cult members more. I’m liking the flow of the book better. Being more forgiving as an alternate reality take on this story. It feels like if Silent Hill 2 was re-scrapped to fit with game 1 & 3. Which also makes sense for the cinematic universe, even if I hoped they would’ve rebooted like original.
