How about a definition or five? None of the things Ham described as a religion in this chapter would be described as such outside young earth creationism.

How is someone borrowing from a Christian worldview when they're making an argument? I still don't understand this.

'the Bible is true because any alternative would make things like knowledge, logic, and truth impossible.' Why? Even for someone who takes the Bible literally, there are plenty of different interpretations and ideas that can come from it.. I don't see how limiting oneself to a book and one perspective is healthy.

More poking at other apologetics tactics. Would this help a Christian reader?

This chapter is kinda funny and he did not intend it to be. It admits he pre supposes his conclusion and works from there. Even trying to poke holes in other apologetics approaches.

A short and uninformative chapter restating that he thinks the God of the Bible is the source of everything.

Knowing fallacies and other arguments will help you to better understand. However, if you have a conclusion in mind it will still hinder your reasoning. I am open to the possibilities, but a fifth of the way through this one and I have yet to read something that gave me pause. Cringed a few times but...

Why compare something to the Bible? Why not the Vedas or other texts? The Bible is the claim. Ham follows this up with misrepresentations of his oposition and really does not explain himself much. Also, as much as I love Bill Nye, why are you still brining up this debate so much? He doesn't mention it and has moved on.

This chapter describes what apologetics. Good offense and defense and promotes understanding of different ideas and beliefs. However, he has already made at least one strawman. Other times, this already comes off as preaching.

The introduction was not much of one .. I have no sense of where the book is going. Little detail is mentioned about the content of the debate mentioned. I didn't know who the debaters were. Also, why mention Dawkins? Famous, maybe but many atheists are not too keen on him anymore. This demonstrates how little Ham even understands his opponents
